After years of dreaming and hoping to own a cabin business that day has come! Our family loves outdoor adventures including camping, hiking, snowmobiling, atving, fishing, swimming, watching sunrises and sunsets, and hiking with our dog in the woods. Jackman, Maine is the perfect community for our family. One look at Sally Mountain across the beautiful Big Wood Pond and we were in love. This property is magical with over 300 Ft of lake frontage and the sunsets are second to none.

We are absolutely thrilled with the framework the Hegarty family has built, grown, and passed onto us. They have established a wonderful place for families, friends and outdoorsmen to gather and stay. We are honored to continue this amazing legacy. We are committed to upholding the outstanding reputation that Sally Mountain Cabins has built over the decades. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and comfort that you have come to expect from your visits to the cabins.

Our life experiences have brought us to the hospitality industry. Jenny brings nearly 3 decades of hospitality business management, a super friendly outgoing personality and a smile that lights the room. Chris has experience in most of the trades, property management & maintenance as well as customer service from running a landscaping business. His laughter and sense of adventure is contagious. Together our combined skills seem to be a great fit for this business. We love entertaining and can’t wait to share the lifestyle that Northern Maine offers. We have always known we would be a great fit for a business exactly like this one. We look forward to hosting families and friends that continue to vacation on Big Wood Pond.

We intend to keep many of the things here exactly the same (Why change a good thing?) with some updated amenities and personalized services. We are committed to making your stay even more memorable. In the coming months, you can look forward to some exciting improvements and enhancements to elevate your cabin rental experience. We will be adding amenities that include: children’s activities, a board game loaner cabinet, a free library, and more. If you are here to celebrate a special occasion - Let us know! Salmon, brook trout, lake trout, splake, smelt, and cusk make up Jackman's game fish. There are over 30 lakes and ponds and countless brooks and streams in and around the Jackman area. Many offer a chance to fish in solitude. Whether or not you are a serious angler searching for trophy fishing, or a weekend vacation fisherman looking to relax and enjoy some good fishing, the Jackman region offers something for everyone. The most productive fishing is done in the spring, however, good fishing is available through the summer and into the fall. Rent a boat from us or bring your own.

Sally Mountain Cabins can accommodate 2-5 peole in our smaller cabins and groups of 10 or more in our larger ones. Your private Maine cabin, in Jackman, is equipped with oil heat, full kitchen, full bath, all linens, blankets, pillows, towels, cooking and eating utensils, color cable TV and much, much more. Your cabin is well maintained and thoroughly clean!
